| A couple of days after my birthday |
Mike and Meg bought me an interesting
present for my birthday. Instead of a usual bunch of flowers they bought a special vase with tulip bulbs already growing. At that point the flowers were just starting to open.
I know tulips in Texas are very difficult to grow as they need a real cold period before they germinate.I have tried planting them in the garden but had no success.

Obviously this special vase has the trick for doing it as you can see by the photos.
What 's more I can use the vase again next year.
