Unfortunately just as the Irises are in full bloom, down came the rain with more to follow this week.Isn't it always the way?
Some I have saved and brought inside and they might last a few more days.
Never mind I read that you are supposed to deadhead irises as soon as they finish blooming in order to get better flowers next year.
Also, once the beds get crowded , which most of mine are, you have to dig them up and spread them to new beds.More gardening work.
You learn something new each day and all because the rains came and I had time to do research!!
