There are so many wonderful Children's books around today; so many different kinds to choose that it is a wonder to me that all children are not reading more.
Having spent a good part of my early working life teaching children to do just that, I know this is a skill that is very difficult for some children to accomplish although on average most children with practice will succeed.

To get a child interested in reading, you have to read to them and show them lots of books and then encourage them all you can.
