Black Rabbit Hall by Eve Chase

Black Rabbit Hall by Eve Chase

A great  book and family history set in modern times, mostly in a beautiful old house in Cornwall.

Lorna, a soon to be bride, is interested in finding a wedding venue with special meaning. She remembers a place in Cornwall which her mother, who has recently died, would take her to visit when she was a young child.

She finds Black Rabbit Hall and goes to visit  with her  fiance Jon only to find out that the place is almost falling in ruins. The owner is desperate for business and really want them to hold the wedding  in the house. Jon is  definitely not sold on the idea.
The owner, Mrs Alton asks Lorna to come for a weekend to see how it could work and Lorna decides to go.

Something is drawing her to the house and she plans to find out it's secrets.
The secrets are many and include a lovely family, a glamorous mother, an awful dominating stepmother and romance, intrigue and a mystery.
A very well written and interesting book to read.

I never guessed just how it would end.
