We had a wonderful day in Spring when we went to visit the beautiful gardens surrounding a beautiful old house in Weatherford, a short distance due west of Fort Worth. The house was original built by a well-known artist and used as his residence and studio and then later given to the city to be used for public visits.

The gardens are beautiful and the whole area is on 5 acres so the perfect place to visit before the weather gets too hot. You might wany to go in Fall or Spring as there are lots of lovely old trees with lots of shade.
