The pink bouganvilliea
Photo by Mike The plants that are in my summer room for the winter have all started to bloom. We have had a mild winter up to now. I have been keeping this room warm at 60 degrees for most of the day. Also, the trees that shade this room in the summer are now bare of leaves so the sun floods in in the early mornings. Just lovely.
One of the plants in the suniest spot of the room is a pink bougainvillea and it doing exceptionally well.
The blooms are beautiful and there are so many. It didn't bloom at all during last summer's outing on the patio outside but it's certainly making up for that now. Strangely enough, the red bougainvillea has not one bloom at all.
